To avoid a clash with another district sale, this year’s Kerr & Co Livestock annual spring cattle sale is being held on Tuesday, October 24, rather than the traditional Thursday of previous Hamilton feature sales.
In spite of this logical change of selling day, the usual high quality expected of this annual 2500-head feature has not been compromised with all of its regular breeder lines committed including some 820 head of one-owner EU-accredited cattle.
Household Western District names such as Brandon, Hutton Partnership, Greenhills, Murroa East, The Union, Olangolah and Ardonarchie are listed and all lots nominated are 12-14 months of age or older meaning they are primed ready for pasture or feedlot finishing.
