WHILE a few spreaders have hit the market this year with precision technology, farmers now have access to a home grown alternative.
Gason have launched two new spreader models with multi-purpose and widespread spinner sets.
AF Gason, director and agricultural division head, Greg Gason said the changes were a result of customer demand followed by years of development.
“The market is demanding a 36 metre spread width to suit their cropping program,” he said.

The system utilises a removable “widespread centre vee” that provides
increased flexibility when changing from different products, said Mr Gason.
“Spinners can be switched easily so you can run lime, gypsum and manure,” he said.
Mr Gason said the spreader range have the option of load cells for accurate assessment of remaining product from the cab.
The machine has the option of a variable rate technology (VRT) hydraulic drive metering system for manual or prescription rate use.
Other listed optional extras include a choice of control monitors, roll over tarp kit, rear tail lights, hydraulic trailer brakes,
narrow and 3 metre control traffic axles and heavy duty manure spinners.
