Wangaratta will be the destination of choice for serious cattle buyers on Friday, when the north east market assembles a quality line-up of 2500 store cattle in its annual spring sale.
Justin Keane, Corcoran Parker, said the yarding would comprise predominantly breeders’ line of locally-raised spring-drop weaners that have emerged from the winter in excellent condition. Among the vendors, Garry McCoy, Taminick, will offer 160 Angus weaners, Witherswood-blood, while Peter and Jane Nolan, Tarawingee, have sell 35 EU Angus/Charolais weaners.
Bowman’s Forest will also offer 140 Angus/Black Baldy weaners, aged 11 months.
The sale will begin at 10:30am, however few if any, breeding stock will be offered.
