Victoria’s best shearers and wool handlers will again keep the crowds entertained as they compete for state honours at the show.
The winners will be aiming for national competition qualification with a program of blade shearing and wool handling across the three days.
On Friday, July 14, training workshops run by Northern Shears, will not only demonstrate how to get the best out of their equipment, but also offer an opportunity for anyone wanting to learn more about the industry.
The competition heats up on Saturday, July 15, with elimination rounds continuing. On Sunday, July 16, the semi-finals will be run for both the shearing and wool handling, culminating in the open finals on Sunday afternoon.
