Cold mornings, with an increased chance of frost, are predicted for the next few days.
Bureau of Meteorology (BoM) senior duty forecaster Michael Efron said the state would experience settled weather, from a typical early winter pattern.
“There’s not a great deal of rain around, if anything showers will be confined to the central area and western coast, inland to Camperdown, Hamilton and Casterton,” Mr Efron said.
The bureau has issued a frost warning, with temperatures down to -1 degrees, for Saturday morning in parts of the northern country, north central and north-east forecast districts.
“There’s a really slow moving high pressure system, currently over the Bight, moving slowly eastwards, over the next three to four days,” Mr Efron said.
“There’ll be very little wind and little rain, as well.”
Onshore winds, and several weak fronts, which passed through the state earlier this week delivered showers to the south-west.
“There is no major system in the outlook period, there’ll be a weak front, later on Monday, which will bring some isolated showers to the south, but on Tuesday the high ridge will be back over us.”
