A third successive rain for April has pushed store cattle prices further northwards at Kyneton on Wednesday.

A small but excellent display of spring-drop weaners were also well received these making $1040-$1180 ahead as most realized 450-500c/kg.
A limited display of young heifers was eagerly supported as most clocked up per kilogram sales equivalent to the steer counterparts.
Heifers offered in pen lots were rare, nonetheless, prices of $1130 to $1340 for the better grown, 300- 380kg types were not uncommon on the day.
