The Hamilton/Ararat Branches of the Australian Superfine Woolgrowers Association (ASWGA) will hold its sixth annual reunion dinner, in Hamilton, on May 13.
Two prominent local studs will also throw open their gates to attendees.
At Glenara, Marius Cuming from Australian Wool Innovation (AWI) will speak on new product, research and animal husbandry. The second farm is Sierra Park, one of the oldest continual operating pure Saxon merino studs in Australia.
The highlight of the dinner will be the presentation of the fourth Annual, ASWGA Fleece Competition. This competition will feature class winners from the eight ASWGA regions, the champion fleece receiving the “Cleckheaton Grand Champion Trophy”.
