ON the final day of Stock &amp; Land Beef Week, studs in southern New South Wales opened their gates to show off their herds.

INJEMIRA: Well known Swifts Creek cattle producers Robyn and Peter Sandy discuss sale bulls with Injemira principal Marc Greening.

INJEMIRA: South Australian stud Hereford breeders Sue and Anthony Honner, Minlacowie Herefords, added a visit to Injemira to their Stock & Land Beef Week trip this year.

GLENELLERSLIE: Three generations of the Roche family, Julian, Arthur and Pat, Ellerslie, visited several Hereford studs on day nine of Stock & Land Beef Week, including Glenellerslie.

YARAWA SOUTH: Repeat visitors David and John Ferguson, Adelong, NSW, joined Greg Peel, Yarawa South Poll Herefords, on day nine of Stock & Land Beef Week.

YAVENVALE: Marina and Henk Heus, Tatong, look for potential sires for their Simford herd amongst the 120 bulls on display Yavenvale.

YAVENVALE: Looking for a Hereford bull to meet their specifications, Duane Hicks and his mother Faye, Gundowring, inspect the Yavenvale heifer challenge entries, whilst his father Bill inspected the bulls.

YUKON PARK: Yukon Park Herefords principal Barry Peel discusses breeding with Ross Trethowan, Cookardinia, NSW.

ROSE VIEW:  Janelle and David Manwaring, Rose View Hereford and Poll Herefords, showing off their Poll Hereford females with grandchildren Amy and Sam. Roseview had on display breeding females, show team, and a group of sale age bulls.

KIRRAWEENA/ GLENHOLME: Jemma Lees, Taloomby, Gunning, and Josh Kirk, Harden, inspect Kirraweena and Glenholme bulls with principal Geoff Bush. Kirraweena and Glenholme Hereford and Poll Hereford studs had on display bull and heifer selections that will be on offer at their annual sale on March 15.

WORMBETE: John Hopkins discusses his Wormbete Simmental bulls with Ian Fieldler, Hillendale, Tarcutta, NSW, and Ty Hardy, Toptani, Humula, NSW. Wormbete will offer a contingent of bulls and females at their annual sale on Friday March 3.

SCHIPPS/ DOODLE COOMA: Daryl Schipp discusses his Schipps Red Angus bulls with Gussie Dimasi, and Rachael Gawne, Bowna, NSW. The Schipp family had on display a selection of their Red Angus sale age bulls and breeding females, as well as a selection of Poll Hereford females and sale age bulls from their Doodle Cooma stud.

TALGOONA: James Male, Elamville, Yerong Creek, NSW, inspects Talgoona Charolais bulls with Bryce and Sophie Galvin, Talgoona. Talgoona had bulls for sale as part of Stock & Land Beef Week, as well as a selection of breeding females on display.

Michael Glasser, GTSM, at Yavenvale Poll Herefords' open day, said Stock & Land Beef Week is a good opportunity for stud's to show off what they have on offer.
