A large crowd flocked to the Grassy Creek Merino sale held on-property at “Marengo”, Boorowa, on Monday (October 10) to see a strong result with interstate buyers taking the top-end.
The Corkhill family sold 97 of the 100 rams offered for an average of $2340.
Poll rams saw the top money reach $6000 when East Gippsland producer Sean Beasley purchased Grassy Creek 150216 a son of WoodPark 342.
Birrellan Pastoral Co, Bigga, followed suit purchasing another poll ram for $5250
G.F. and R.K. Davidson, Walpa, Victoria, continued the interstate trend purchasing the top-price Merino ram at $3750.
The sale was conducted by Landmark Boorowa with Rick Power the auctioneer.
