Jan Davidson, Karandrea stud, Binginwarri, was the sole Galloway exhibitor.
Her six year-old cow Karandrea Fiona, won supreme exhibit of the breed.
There were four exhibitors in the Belted Galloway classes, and a senior bull topped the breed.
Exhibited by Chris and Kim Newsome and Paul and Andrea Tierney, Newsome, the bull Apriash Jameson 9898 was sashed with the supreme ribbon.
Judge Mr Kallady, who is an area manager for World Wide Sires, said he and associate judge Emma Dickinson had a “fair bit of discussion” before awarding the supreme, but ultimately the winning bull stood well, with a lot of distance between the front and back legs.
He said the winning bull would produce a valuable carcase, was smooth in the shoulders and was good in its legs, feet and testicles.
It weighed 862kg and had an EMA of 135 sq cm.
