Stormley Lara, a classy Red Poll cow, has again won supreme exhibit of the breed.
The December 2011 drop cow was supreme exhibit last year, and has won grand champion female for three years in a row.
Bred and exhibited by the Storm family, Stormley Red Polls, Barham, NSW, the cow is by Stormley Strad Dale and out of a cow they had bought.
The eight month-old bull calf at foot was her third calf; and her calf from last year topped the 20-24 month-old female class.
Shane Storm said the cow had all the maternal attributes for which he bred, including a good and productive udder, on a structurally correct frame.
Mr Storm expects it will be her last Royal Show.
For supreme exhibit, she beat the junior champion bull – the one year-old Redward Forest, exhibited by Gay Ward, Redward stud, Arthurs Creek. Ms Ward also won most successful exhibitor.
