THE 2017 Nuffield Australia national conference was held in Adelaide on Thursday and Friday last week, attended by more than 300 delegates from primary industries.
The conference allows Nuffield scholars to share their findings with other growers and stakeholders in their respective industries and communities.
Other guest speakers included 2015 Nuffield international scholar Cecilia Fialho, who talked about genetically-modified crops, and Rabobank’s Food & Agribusiness Research and Advisory manager Tim Hunt, who talked about emerging trends in agriculture.
A dinner was held on the Thursday night, when the 2017 scholars were announced, including three from SA.
Stock Journal’s ALISHA FOGDEN headed along to the conference.
