THE Roma cattle property Bracco has exceeded market expectations selling under the hammer for $4.575 million at a Colliers International auction in Brisbane yesterday.
The 1876 hectare (4634 acre) freehold property offered by Robert and Gail Henricks sold for the equivalent of $2439/ha ($987/acre).
Two of the six parties who registered to bid were active in the sale room.
Bracco features brigalow/belah softwood scrub soils and has six paddocks with an extensive laneway system and mustering wings. Bracco has eight dams and a central bore that supplies a main turkey nest and its 10 stock troughs. The average annual rainfall of 591mm.
Bracco was marketed by Trenton Hindman and Ben Forrest from Colliers International.
