Northern Victorian students will be served Victorian milk from next year, under a new deal to boost the state’s struggling dairy industry and help support regional jobs.
Northern Victoria MP Jaclyn Symes said the Shepparton based Pactum Dairy Group, would exclusively supply milk to the School Breakfast Clubs program from 2017. From next year, the clubs would also be supplied with 80 tonnes of Australian grown baked beans, from SPC Ardmona, Shepparton.
