John Deere’s new Gator XUV590i and XUV590i S4 side by sides are designed for operators looking for performance, comfort and customisation.
Fitted with twin-cylinder engines, independent four-wheel suspension and with more than 60 attachments available, the XUV590i provides performance and work capability in the mid-size class.
“The XUV590i and XUV590i S4 four-passenger models were designed to get more chores checked off your to-do list, in a more comfortable setting,” says John Deere marketing manager, Gator, Mark Davey.
“Outdoor enthusiasts can navigate terrain faster with a top speed of over 77 kilometres an hour thanks to quick acceleration powered by a 586 cc, 23.8 kilowatt liquid-cooled inline twin-cylinder petrol engine.”
The two new Gator models boast performance features ideal for around the property.
The XUV590i offers 267 milimetres of ground clearance, 363 kilograms load capacity and 499kg of towing capacity.
Likewise, the XUV590i S4 has a 236mm ground clearance, 544kg load capacity and is capable of towing up to 499kg.
The Gator XUV590i and XUV590i S4 come standard with an 875 watt, 65 amp alternator to run auxiliary attachments such as lights, winches and sprayers, without the fear of discharging the battery.
The low noise and vibration levels on the new Gator XUV590i and XUV590i S4 is achieved by isolating the powertrain and using sound-dampening material around the engine and CVT intakes.
Both models feature a large 28 litre fuel tank.
The instrument cluster is backlit and provides vehicle information, such as speed, engine RPM, fuel level, coolant temperature and warning lights for information, such as power steering, maintenance reminders and seat belt reminder.
