Victorian Agriculture minister Jaala Pulford has said the government’s $200 million infrastructure and jobs fund would help ensure the grain industry’s future.
The Victorian grains industry exported $141m worth of wheat, barley and canola to China in 2015, and $87m in wheat to Vietnam. Ms Pulford said the Agriculture Infrastructure and Jobs Fund would provide $175m for major capital works and $25m for market access, traceability, business management and network capability building.
