WITH over 270 entrants in this year’s Woolcraft competition, schools around the country are encouraged to enter the highlight of the show.
Woolcraft organiser Dot Vallence, said the show will display all of what homegrown wool fashion has to offer.
“The poppy dress was made with a theme of Remembrance Day, made by kids working on it together – it was truly wonderful,” she said.
“The Genazzano College, Melbourne, has been entering the competition for years now and won the first time they entered the competition.
“This year’s entries are up to 270 from Australia and overseas, we’ve had competitors from NZ and Japan before.”
