Silvan Australia has added new high capacity linkage sprayers to its range with a choice of 1600 or 1900 litre capacity tanks.
Silvan product manager Gavin Wheatcroft says the linkage sprayers are packed with features to meet occupational health and safety requirements and optimise efficiency and performance.
“Silvan has taken account of farmer and contractor feedback to offer litre capacity versions that will service the need for pasture applications, specialist row crop management and spraying contractor needs.”
He said the 1600 or 1900 litre Polytuff tanks are complemented by a 150 litre clean water flush tank and a 10 litre capacity operator hand wash tank.
Another key feature is the 30 litre capacity Silmix chemical induction hopper and a cabin operated three section electric boom control with a pressure adjustment feature.
The new sprayers are manufactured with heavy-duty hot dip galvanized steel frames for enhanced longevity and chemical resistance and are suitable for Category II and III linkages.
Spraying is provided via a BP125/20 oil backed diaphragm pump delivering 121 litres per minute capacity at 20 bar.
Typical boom choices include Silvan’s popular, keenly priced, hydraulic fold Devil boom with independent left or right section folding and hydraulic lift for optimal boom height control depending on ground profile or crop conditions.
“We have designed our new 1600 or 1900 litre Silvan Linkage Sprayers so that all functions can be performed from ground level without the sprayer operator ever needing to climb on to the sprayer,” Mr Wheatcroft said.
Introductory prices for the new Silvan 1600 and 1900 litre linkage sprayers begin from $24,475.
