Rabobank Australia and New Zealand has announced the appointment of Tim Hunt as new general manager of its Food and Agribusiness Research (FAR) division.

Mr Hunt takes on the role after five years with Rabobank in New York, where he served in the international position of Global Strategist – Dairy. Rabobank Australia and New Zealand group deputy managing director Peter Knoblanche said Mr Hunt brought a strong combination of global agribusiness experience and local knowledge to the role. “In Tim’s position as global dairy strategist, he has had a very valuable international perspective on both the dairy industry and the agri sector more broadly,” Mr Knoblanche said. Mr Hunt replaces Luke Chandler, who has moved to America.
