A steady flow of interested sheep producers keen to continue lifting the quality of the wool production took the opportunity to visit eight renowned Merino studs in the Yass/Boorowa/Harden district during the annual field day held as a prelude to the Great Southern Supreme Merino (GSSM) Show and Sale.
On display were quality Merino sheep and their fleeces which make this area one of the premier wool growing districts in the state.
All stud masters were pleased with the public response to their sheep, with many reporting strong enquiry for flock rams.
