BRISBANE-based Mahindra has unveiled the all-new 4010 4WD Hydrostatic drive ROPS and 5035 4WD Hydrostatic Drive ROPS tractors.
Mahindra Ag and Auto Australia national manager Mahesh Kaskar said the new 4010 HST and 5035 HST tractors were economical, easy to operate, and ideal for general purpose farming, agriculture/livestock operations, and grounds maintenance.
He said the new 4010 HST and 5035 HST tractors complete the range of hydrostatic drive options in Australia for Mahindra.
HST or hydrostatic drive enables operation with the simple use of a forward and reverse pedal.
The all-new 4010 4WD HST features a 38 horsepower, 3 cylinder naturally aspirated fuel injected diesel engine and three range hydrostatic drive transmission with 4WD. This tractor features bigger wheel equipment, tractor weight (1390kg) and lift capacities (SWL on Loader 450kg and Linkage 1200kg), and is supplied with industrial tyres as standard fitment.
The all-new 5035 4WD Hydrostatic Drive ROPS tractor features three ranges enabling different speeds to be achieved.
The cruise control on this tractor is a large easy to reach lever.
It enables increases or decreases in speed in small increments, only possible with its smooth engagement.
As with Mahindra's range of 35 series tractors, the 5035 4WD HST ROPS tractor comes with comfort suspension seat with armrests, flat platform, easy access bonnet, cup holders, telescopic lower links, over 2100kg in tractor weight, 41.6 litres per minute hydraulic flow from the standard remote.
A self-level loader with quick-attach and quick-hitch on bucket are standard.
This along with the 2.5 tonne front axle rating and decent wheel equipment standard, means the Safe Working Load for the loader on this tractor is 700kg.
Hydrostatic drive transmission is available as an option in these 4WD models - Max 28 [28HP] ROPS, 4010 [38HP] ROPS, 5035 [50HP] ROPS and 5010 [50HP] CAB and standard on the popular MAX 25 [25HP] ROPS tractor.
