ONE bull with an outstanding temperament offered all the answers for the Dingo-based Luck family at the 26th annual Wilangi Brahman sale at Charters Towers last week.
Offered by invited vendors, Stewart and Kerry Wallace, Wallace Cattle Co, Marlborough, the 798kg, milk tooth, 26 month old, select sire, Wallace Mr Licorice, sold for $18,500 to Nerida Luck on behalf of her parents, Richard and Gaye, Junee Station.

Featuring nearly 200 grey bulls, the Wilangi sale presented an outstanding and diverse genetic line-up from principal vendors, Ron, Bev, Rob and Mandy White and invited vendors, El Ja, Wallace Cattle Co, Raglan and Viva studs.
In total, 34 premier select sires averaged $6220.
Registered bulls averaged $3861 for 60 lots.
A total of 60 herd bulls averaged $3891 and topped at $11,000 when Gordon Kime and his grandson, Matt, selected the 27 month old, Yenda Rambler son, Wallace Mr 64/12.
