Tasmanian graziers and farmers now have access to pasture growth predictions, 90 days out, for seven regions of the state.
Tasmanian Institute of Agriculture (TIA) and the CSIRO, through the Sense-T project, have developed on online pasture growth rate prediction tool.
A spokesman said the pasture growth rates were based on a combination of data, including current weather conditions and forecasts, rainfall events, past climate records and real-time soil moisture.
