The 131st annual show is on Saturday at the Kaniva Recreation Reserve.
Show secretary Angela Veitch said the inaugural quick shear competition last year was a great success.
“After the turnout we had last year, we're excited to have it on again,” she said.
This year’s show will also feature a vintage tractor pull, animal nursery and an extensive horse section.
“There will be plenty of food options with Anglican Church ladies committee providing lunch in the football clubrooms and Kaniva College supplying afternoon tea, donuts and more,” Ms Veitch said.
Nostalgia will also feature at this year’s show, will a special ‘relive your childhood’ competition category in the community pavilion.
“The section includes items like fairy bread and decorated wooden spoons,” Ms Veitch said.
”The Kaniva Shared Ministry will provide free kids activities and show bags.”
Ms Veitch said there would also be a large variety of stalls in the Kaniva Community Complex.
