The average price across the 34 lots was $87.43, with a consignment of 190 lambs from B&M Burgess, Exford Park, via Samaria, topping the table at $110.50
The six-month-old mixed sex second-cross lambs weighed an average of 42.9 kilograms and were just off shears.
Overall heavier lambs weighing 39kg to 40kg made $90-$102.50; while 34kg-38kg lambs made $75.50-$98.50.
Lighter lambs weighing 28kg-32kg made $70-$88.
The best value for weight was achieved by the Eldary Partnership, Boralma, which sold 437 second-cross lambs weighing av 30kg for $92.50, or 740c/kg carcase weight.
According to AuctionsPlus, processors and feedlots were priced out of the market, with most consignments going to restockers and backgrounders.
All but one of the lots sold 20-220c/kg above the restocker lamb indicator.
Second-cross lambs outperformed other breeding combinations.
On price/head they made av $93.06, compared to first-cross ($82.83), composite ($87.56) and Border Leicester-Dohne lambs ($67.50).
