WITH demand for skilled employees growing and the need for ongoing on-farm succession and sustainability, the Australian Sheep Breeders' Association will again highlight the youth sections of the Australian Sheep & Wool Show.
There is a full junior judging and schools programme at the show and this year, it will be run alongside a careers and technology area.
The Future of Farming series continues to attract a high number of competition entries. The series incorporates the junior judging and schools competition and provides a showcase for the best and brightest young farmers.
Around 45 schools take part in the junior competitions, which are held on Friday, July 17.
