Eeve Ogilvie, Bears Delight, Mt Lonarch, and her winning Black & Coloured fleece.
EVE Ogilvie, Bears Delight, Mt Lonarch, was definitely not the dark horse in the Black & Coloured fleece competition at the Australian Sheep & Wool Show.
Her black and white Corriedale wool took out the top trophy, after a four-year-old ewe produced 4.9 kilograms of prize-winning fleece.
Now in her 10th year of showing at Bendigo, Ms Ogilvie said that Corriedale was her preferred wool as she thought it was the easiest to spin with.
She also brought five Merinos to the show for judging, which got her a first and third in the extra fine four-tooth and under category.
