FSF Faulkiner & Sons studs from Deniliquin, NSW, Wanganella and Poll Boonoke had a terrific campaign at Bendigo this year, cleaning up many of the Poll Merino champions.
Their junior champion Medium wool ram went all the way to winning the grand champion Poll Merino ram of the year title.
The March-shorn ram was praised by judge Alan McCormack, Walwa, Gunning, NSW, for it's productivity and all over wool coverage.
"He had great neck extension with a lot of bone in his head, which gives him great sire appeal," Mr McCormack said.
Wurrook Poll, Rokewood, added grand champion Poll Merino ewe of the year to their swag of awards, winning with a 15.8-micron ewe from the open divison.
Her fleece had a standard deviation of 2.4M, coefficient of variation of 15.2 and perfect comfort factor of 100 per cent.
