In the heifer section, there was strong local and feedlot competition, while processors were active on the lighter weight heifers.
All the heifers ranged from 170 to 185 cents kilogram (or $620-$720), with one pen of Charolais topping at 196c/kg.
Flowerdale Farm, Euroa, sold 91 heifers from $535-$635.
Heifers for slaughter made $460-$585.
Both agents and vendors were pleased with the sale, and buyers were happy stump up the money for quality.
Meanwhile, with the State Election looming on Saturday, the Agriculture Minister Peter Walsh made an announcement at start of the Euroa sale. He said if the Coalition is re-elected on Saturday they will put $500,000 towards stage two of the Euroa saleyard redevelopment.
