BREEDING ewes, scanned-in-lamb, made to a top of $190 a head for young crossbreds and to $169 for Merinos in a reserved demand at Wycheproof, on Friday.
Buyers from across the state supported the sale which also cleared unjoined ewes to a best of $166 for young crossbreds while unjoined Merino ewes made to $150.
The sale of 6838 head was conducted by Elders Wycheproof and branches while buyers consigned purchases to Edenhope, Ballarat, Casterton, Avoca, Hamilton, Bendigo, Swan Hill, Ouyen, Euroa, St Arnaud and Barham, NSW.
