Best sales of young ewes Keri Keri-blood made $118 to $133 while most other young “wool-cutter” ewes made $95-$120 a head.
Aged ewes, however, met better demand from smallish and timid crowd.
These made $70-$100 with a pen of 11-drop four year-olds, August-shorn, sold at $108.
The demand for wethers was much more current with processors dominant on the better grown and weightier lots while graziers won the day on the lighter end.
Unshorn wether lambs made to $78 while shorn pens made $58 to $71.
