James Davidson, Dalveen, Lake Bolac, sold these 19 Hereford steers, weighing 522kg as rising 2yo, to $930, bought by Elaine farmer David Wells. Mr Davidson also sold the 32 Hereford steers behind across two pens, av 471kg, at $840.

ALTHOUGH dearer, and considerably in places, demand for store cattle was considered “lethargic” at Ballarat store sale today.
