A DARE has seen Melbourne solicitor run part of Sunday's Melbourne Marathon in a cow onesie.
Edward Kus wanted to raise money for Hamilton's National Centre for Farmer Health.
"If the team raised $10,000, I would run the last 10km in a cow onesie, for every additional $1000 I would run a further kilometre in the onesie," Mr Kus said.
He ended up running 13km in the onesie.
He said he worked with centre director Sue Brumby's daughter, Charley, and had registered to run the marathon anyway.
"Then Charley suggested I join the Run 4 Farmer Health fundraising team," Mr Kus said.
"I was happy to help kick the team's fundraising up a gear, so the idea of the cow onesie came about as a way of setting a fundraising goal."

Mr Kus said he grew up in Bacchus Marsh, in the 1990's, and had a number of friends whose families worked on the land.
Joining the Run for Farmer Health team was based on its work in promoting mental health, he said.
"But more broadly the centre provides an invaluable healthcare resource for families living in regional and rural Victoria, including advocating the new Graduate Certificate in Agricultural Health and Medicine," Mr Kus said.
"These programs will help to bridge the gap in healthcare outcomes between urban, regional and rural families in Victorian society more broadly."
