THE VICTORIAN Country Fire Authority currently has two emergency warnings out for uncontrolled fires in the centre of the state.
Residents at Yapeen, Strathloddon and Guildford have been warned to take shelter indoors.
The CFA said an uncontrolled grass fire was travelling east, from Yapeen and had jumped Donkey Gully Road.
Residents near Vaughan Springs Road and Mopoke Road were now under threat.
Near Ruffy, the CFA warned the Longwood East fire was still out of control.
A change in weather conditions meant the fire was moving southerly, towards McLeans Lane and the Creightons Creek.
Residents in the area were being warned to leave, with closest Neighbourhood Safer Place situated at the Ruffy Recreation Reserve, Noye Lane (off Buntings Hill Road north east of Ruffy) Ruffy.
