Julie and Kelvin Bateman with their Baroona Angus weaners.
NINE continuous years of Pathfinder-blood has rewarded Kelvin and Julie Bateman with a very even drop of Angus calves for their Casterton-district property, Baroona, at Dunrobin.
They said their cattle grew exceptionally well during the early parts of the year but has since slowed with the failing of the spring.
The Baroona February/March-born calves were pictured feeding on wheat, beans and pasture hay in their weaning yard six weeks before their sale date on January 6, Casterton. They have been drenched, 7in1 and B12 vaccinated.
